Fall Newsletter 2025
Fall Updates from Premier Equine
As summer winds down and the crisp air of fall approaches, we find ourselves reflecting on a busy and fulfilling season. From long summer days filled with work, family, and travel, we are looking forward to the change of pace that autumn brings—a chance to recharge and prepare for the months ahead.
This fall, we are especially excited to welcome back our veterinary technician, Ashlee, who has been on maternity leave. Ashlee and her family celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Lainee, in June, and her oldest daughter, Aubree, is thrilled to be a big sister. Ashlee is also continuing her Licensed Veterinary Technician program through Santa Rosa Junior College and preparing for her licensing exam in January. As she eases back into her routine, you’ll see her both in the field and in the office each week. We’re so glad to have her back on our team!
Our veterinary assistant, Alyssa, spent the summer working full-time alongside Dr. Benson. With the new semester beginning at SRJC, she has returned to her studies in pre-veterinary coursework as she prepares to transfer to a four-year college. We are proud of her dedication and look forward to supporting her on her path to becoming a veterinarian.
Meanwhile, Dr. Benson and her husband, Justin, have enjoyed their first year as a family of three. Their daughter, Charlotte, has joined them on many adventures, from Yosemite and Boise to Nashville and the Napa Valley Bottlerock Festival. Charlotte has also spent time in the truck with Dr. Benson and Alyssa, meeting clients and their horses. Horses have quickly become her favorite animals—something we’re excited to encourage!
As always, we want to thank our clients for your trust and support. We hope you enjoy the beauty of the fall season and find plenty of opportunities to spend time in the saddle before winter arrives.
